HOLDS, PURCHASES, PAYMENTS

  • Yes, for eligible items. After purchasing, we will coordinate pickup details with you.

SHOPPING ONLINE

  • Yes. You can shop our collection online anytime. We include detailed photography, dimensions, condition notes, and practical purchasing information to help you shop with confidence from anywhere.

  • Because our inventory is one of a kind, once a piece sells, it is gone. If an item is available on the website, it should still be available, but occasionally in-person and online timing can overlap. If you are deciding between a few pieces or want to move quickly on something, we recommend purchasing as soon as you are ready.

  • Yes. We aim to include clear dimensions, materials, and condition notes on each product page so you know what to expect before purchasing.

THE SHOWROOM & VISITING US

  • Yes. We have a Chicago showroom where customers can shop in person.

  • Our showroom is located in Andersonville at 5412 N Clark St., #218, Chicago, Illinois. We are on the second floor, directly above the Brown Elephant. Our entrance is between the Milan Laser and My Eye Doctor entrances on Clark Street. Scan the QR code on the sign or the door to be buzzed in.

  • Our showroom is styled like a studio apartment or lived-in home, so you can experience vintage furniture and decor in context rather than seeing each piece on its own. We designed it this way to help customers imagine how different pieces can work together and to make shopping feel more inspiring and intuitive.

  • Our showroom is open on Saturdays & Sundays from 11am - 5pm. Appointments are required to visit during the week. You can book an appointment here or email us at hello@miscellaneaetc.com to schedule an appointment.

    As a small business, we may occasionally close the shop for special events. Please check our Instagram for the most up-to-date information.

  • Yes. Customers are welcome to shop available inventory in person and purchase directly from the showroom. All items are able to be taken home the same day as well.

THE WAREHOUSE

  • Yes. We also have a warehouse in Ravenswood where we store additional inventory.

  • Our warehouse is located at 4507 N Ravenswood Ave, #105, Chicago, Illinois.

  • Yes, during our monthly warehouse open hours, the last weekend of every month. These events are a chance to shop our full inventory all at once and get a first look at new arrivals before they hit the website. Sign up for our email list or follow on instagram for updates.

  • We offer limited appointments for the warehouse between our monthly open hours events. Check our Visit Us page or email us at hello@miscellaneaetc.com to book an appointment at the warehouse.

  • We open the warehouse once a month on the last weekend of the month. Dates and details are typically announced through our email list and Instagram.

  • The showroom offers a more styled, home-like experience that helps you see pieces in context. The warehouse is where customers can shop a broader volume of inventory at once.

PICKUP, DELIVERY, & SHIPPING

  • Yes. Pickup is available in Chicago at our Andersonville Showroom and Ravenswood Warehouse. We tag each piece on our website with its location, so can see where you need to pick up from after you purchase.

  • We work with local delivery partners for white glove delivery services in the Chicago area. Delivery pricing varies based on item size and distance. To get a quote for delivery, please use the estimate calculator on each product page or email hello@miscellaneaetc.com. After checkout, we will confirm final details via email and send you and invoice for shipping.

  • Yes! For shipping larger furniture pieces outside Chicago, please use the estimate calculator on each product page, or you can request a shipping quote by emailing us at hello@miscellaneaetc.com. After checkout, we will confirm final details via email and send you and invoice for shipping.

  • Yes! Decor and smaller home items can be shipped across the U.S. To preview shipping costs, add the item to your cart, proceed to checkout, and enter your address. Shipping options and prices will show once your address is entered.

  • You can use our shipping and delivery calculator on the product page to get a quote for that specific product, or email hello@miscellaneaetc.com with the item you are interested in and your delivery zip code, and we can provide a shipping quote. After checkout, we will confirm final details via email and send you and invoice for shipping.

  • Yes! For all deliveries, we work with partners who provide white glove service depending on the item and the delivery location. Fees are paid directly to the delivery partner.

RETURNS & POLICIES

  • Due to the vintage nature of our items, we cannot accept returns. If you have an issue with your order, please email hello@miscellaneaetc.com.

  • Because every piece is vintage and one of a kind, variations in age, wear, finish, and materials are part of what makes each item unique. We do our best to photograph and describe pieces clearly so customers can shop with confidence.

VINTAGE CONDITION

  • All vintage pieces show some level of age and wear, which is part of what gives them character. We note visible wear and condition details in each listing and photograph pieces as accurately as possible.

  • Some pieces are sold as found, while others may be lightly refreshed, restored, or refinished when needed. Our goal is always to preserve the original charm of a piece while making sure it is ready to live with now.

  • Yes. Vintage items are not factory-new and may have imperfections, patina, minor wear, or variations that come with age. We see that as part of their beauty, but we also want customers to understand exactly what they are buying.
