We want shopping vintage online to feel as straightforward and transparent as possible. Because our collection is made up of one-of-a-kind vintage furniture and decor, shipping works a little differently than it does with mass-produced pieces from large retailers.
Many of our items are fragile, oversized, or cannot be disassembled, which means they require more care in packing, handling, and transportation. As a small business, we do our best to provide competitive shipping options while making sure each piece arrives safely.
Decor Shipping
Decor is available for pickup at our Chicago showroom and shipping across the US. To preview shipping costs, add the item to your cart, proceed to checkout, and enter your address. Shipping options and prices will show once your address is entered.
Because our decor inventory is vintage and often delicate, shipping costs may be higher than what you might expect from a big box retailer. Each piece is packed by hand with care and extra protection to help ensure it arrives safely.
Furniture Shipping
Furniture is available for local pickup from our Chicago showroom or warehouse, local delivery in the Chicago area, and shipping across the US.
Please use the shipping and delivery calculator on each product page to view estimates for local delivery and nationwide shipping for that item. We work with local and national delivery partners to coordinate white glove delivery and shipping services. Delivery and shipping prices vary based on item size, delivery location, distance, and service requirements.
Because our furniture is one of a kind, shipping works differently than it does for flat-pack or mass-produced pieces. Most vintage furniture cannot be disassembled and repacked into standard parcel boxes, which means larger items typically need to ship via LTL freight. We do our best to provide competitive freight quotes for individual furniture pieces, but shipping costs will often be higher than what you may be used to from large retailers.
Since furniture shipped via LTL freight moves through a more flexible scheduling process, delivery timing and appointment windows can be fluid. We do our best to accommodate requests whenever possible and to communicate clearly throughout the process so you know what to expect.
Small Furniture Pieces
Some smaller furniture pieces may be able to ship via UPS or FedEx if they can safely fit within a standard shipping box without risking damage. If you are interested in a smaller item, please reach out and we are happy to let you know whether it qualifies.
Why Vintage Shipping Costs More
Shipping vintage is often more expensive than shipping new, mass-produced goods, and there are a few reasons why.
First, many vintage decor pieces are fragile and require careful hand packing and extra protective materials. Second, one-of-a-kind furniture often cannot be disassembled, which means it must be shipped fully assembled through freight carriers rather than standard parcel services. And third, as a small business, we ship individual pieces with care rather than in bulk, which can affect rates.
Our goal is always to balance safety, transparency, and reasonable pricing while helping your piece arrive in the best possible condition.
